Sitting with friends and drinking coffee is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable activities I can imagine.
I grew up on a fruit farm in central California where a pot of hot coffee brewed in the kitchen and Swedish coffee cake sat on the kitchen table. There was rarely a day that someone didn’t stop by to enjoy coffee and chat – farmers, field workers, salesmen, agriculturists, veterinarians, government agents, packing company reps., friends, and relatives.
It is one of the warmest memories of my childhood.
Today coffee is an “EXTRA,” a luxury in my life.
Purchasing coffee means I’ve been able to go to the dentist, send clothes to the dry cleaners, change the oil in the car, and so on.
This Blog is also on my “extras” list – I can continue it only if it pays for itself.
As the Refiner’s Fire Blog (Book) ministers to you (e.g. if you would have bought it on Amazon or in a book store and been glad you did) please add to The Coffee Fund – using PayPal below.
However, don’t give if you have to take from YOUR “extras” list – if your financial state is such you wouldn’t be able to purchase a book consider the blog as a gift from the Triune God.
Thank you, Wanda
